Welcome to DC Dumpsters & Trailers! I'm Dan Warrick, owner of DC Dumpsters & Trailer Rentals. I’m a native to Rocky Mount but lived up and down the east coast as a young man. I returned home to Rocky Mount in 1994, where I met my wife, Christy, a local Financial Advisor. We ‘ve been married now for 29 wonderful years and have three sons. Christopher, a Rocky Mount fire fighter is married to Hannah, a labor and delivery nurse and they have given us 3 beautiful grandchildren.  Zachary, a graduate of ECU, resides in Garner and works in construction management. Shaikey, a recent graduate of Wingate University, lives in Charlotte and works as fitness club manager. All of our children attended Faith Christan School in Rocky Mount and played every sport imaginable, keeping us busy.

I was a volunteer firefighter/EMS for many years. Along with my wife we spent countless hours leading youth activities at church and supporting our boys in scouts. As they grew up, I enjoyed coaching baseball and soccer and loved being a sports announcer for FCS and ECU over the years. I’m a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan and love spending time outdoors. Now that our kids are grown, Christy and I love nothing more than to travel the world.

Throughout our marriage, we have owned many homes. Each of those homes needed to be “improved upon” to make them ours. It was during these times that I noticed a hole in the marketplace. There we no dumpster rental companies for homeowners or small contractors.  We didn’t need or want a giant, bright orange bin sitting in the driveway for weeks at a time. And don’t get me started on how inconvenient it is to deal with hauling items or dealing with the dump sites and landfills. We needed a simple solution for a driveway safe, rubber wheeled dumpster. An idea was born and with my wife’s encouragement, I set out to create DC Dumpsters & Trailer Rentals.

I have spent 30 years in the corporate world as a customer service and field service technician. This will be the cornerstone of our company, you won’t find a more customer focused, responsive, dedicated company in Eastern NC.
